Director of a charitable NGO succeeds on billboards with a positive message

The billboard cooperation between online shopping and rapid delivery service Blinkit and food delivery business Zomato is the most recent meme that is going viral on social media.

As is sometimes the case with social media, what began as a humorous marketing initiative quickly evolved into a meme. Numerous institutions, including the Mumbai police, also disseminated their interpretations of the billboard trend.

The Hemkunt Foundation director Harteerath Singh participated in the billboard meme on January 7. Singh is pictured holding a cardboard with the words "khana mangogay, langar denge" and "thand lagaygi, kambal denge" written on it in a widely shared image. This roughly translates to "if you want food, we will offer it to you," and "if you become cold, we will give you a blanket."

"#SinghWithASign: Be it war-torn locations like the Syrian border or the most isolated settlements, Guru Nanak's langar is available for everyone regardless of caste, colour, gender, and faith," Singh wrote alongside the video. The same holds true for shielding the honour of those—since the 14th century!
